Additional Details
- Note: Any advanced duct sealing installed using the Energize CT rebate must be installed by an approved contractor participating in the CT Advanced Duct Sealing Network. Participating Advanced Duct Sealing Network contractors can be found in the Find a Professional Tool.
- A Home Energy Solutions visit is required to qualify for an Advanced Duct Sealing rebate
- Advanced Duct Sealing must be recommended by a Home Energy Solutions contractor
- If your family’s combined gross annual income is below the state’s 60 percent income median, you may qualify for our no-cost
Home Energy Solutions - Income-Eligible (HES-IE) program - This program is for single-family homes and multifamily buildings of up to 4 units
- Please note that there is a possibility that a Quality Assurance Inspector will be on site or will contact you pre-service for an inspection, and in some instances, before rebate payment
- If you live in an apartment building with more than 4 units, our Multifamily Initiative is for you

Advanced Duct Sealing Qualifications:
- Valid for all existing ductwork OR when new ductwork is ADDED to an existing System's ductwork and ALL (existing and new) ductwork receives Advanced Duct Sealing.
- Existing or new systems that install NEW ductwork where there was NO existing ductwork are NOT eligible for this rebate.
- Systems installed as part of a new residential construction project do not qualify for this rebate.

Step 1 - Receive your Advanced Duct Sealing rebate application during your Home Energy Solutions visit.
Step 2 - You schedule an appointment with a qualified and approved Energize CT Advanced Duct Sealing Network contractor.
Step 3 - Fill out the details as instructed on the form and submit it following the instructions on the application.
