To qualify for natural gas boiler incentives, residential customers of Eversource, CNG and SCG must have purchased and installed the eligible equipment by December 31, 2024.

Alert:
In line with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Final Determination of the 2022 – 2024 Plan, the Sponsors of Energize Connecticut have discontinued rebates and incentives for natural gas equipment as of December 31, 2024. All natural gas equipment sales must have taken place on or before December 31, 2024 to be eligible for rebates. All 2024 Residential Boiler System Rebate Applications along with required documentation must be submitted no later than January 31, 2025.

- Residential customers of Eversource, CNG and SCG are eligible to participate.
- Qualifying boiler must be installed by a licensed contractor in your utility’s service territory.

Technical Details
- ENERGY STAR certified 95% AFUE or greater and AHRI rated with temperature reset or purge control
Tip: Explore alternatives to fossil fuel equipment. Heat pumps are a clean, efficient alternative to a natural gas furnace.
What is the process?
Step 1 - Prior to purchase, confirm your system qualifies for rebates with your HVAC contractor or by checking the ENERGY STAR website.
- All natural gas equipment sales must have taken place on or before December 31, 2024 to be eligible for rebates. All 2024 Residential Boiler System Rebate Applications along with required documentation must be submitted no later than January 31, 2025.
Step 2 - Complete the 2024 Residential Natural Gas Boiler and Furnace Rebate application and mail it to the address on the rebate form.
