Heat Pump Installer Network
Contractors participating in the Energize CT Heat Pump Installer Network are independent, licensed, insured, and actively engaged with the Energize CT HVAC Programs.
Participating Heat Pump Installers have access to:
- Rebate, financing, and tax credit support
- Listing through our Find A Contractor tool
- Customer brochures and sales tools
- Technical resources and training
- Monthly program e-newsletter
- Program updates
- Notice of upcoming industry training opportunities
In order to join the Heat Pump Installer Network, contractors must submit:
- Signed copy of the Energize CT Heat Pump Installer Participation Agreement
- Relevant licenses and certificates
- Certification of industry training:
- Air source heat pump primary installers must provide
- Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Section 608 Technician Certification
- Certificate of heat pump installation training provided by a manufacturer
- Ground Source Heat Pump installers:
- Certification of installation or service training provided by a ground-source heat pump manufacturer (within the last 5 years) or,
- International Ground-Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) Installer or GeoExchange Designer certificate
- Air source heat pump primary installers must provide
Within the first year of participation, all installers must provide a certificate of completion for cold climate heat pump sizing and design training by a manufacturer and complete all assigned heat pump training via the eLearning Center.
