- Commercial Kitchen Equipment
- New Construction or Major Renovation
Commercial kitchens are busy, with major kitchen appliances producing a lot of heat and accounting for up to 35% of the average restaurant’s energy costs. Upgrading to ENERGY STAR® high-efficiency equipment uses less natural gas, electricity and water and can reduce those costs by as much as 75% compared to standard equipment. Plus, many energy-saving options produce less heat so you may also decrease your cooling costs.
The Commercial Foodservice and Lab Equipment solution is designed specifically for commercial and industrial natural gas or electric service customers. All commercial and industrial customers of Eversource, UI, CNG and SCG can participate.
Equipment must be installed in the service territory of the participating utility.
Eligible systems include:
Commercial Ovens, Refrigerators, Freezers, Food Holding Cabinets and more!
Pre-approval and a post-inspection from the participating utility are required if the rebate total exceeds $5,000.
If you are a Connecticut business and are not served by one of the utilities listed above, please visit your utility’s website to see what energy efficiency solutions are available to you. Please click here for information on how to contact your municipal utility.
